_Curriculum
BADC has developed its own curriculum; it aims to deliver a holistic education program combining the core competencies of the national. We are immensely proud of our curriculum, which has been tailor-made to the specific requirements of the Bangladeshi student, keeping in mind his or her heritage, culture and national identity. BADC’s curriculum is a systematic, well thought-out and balanced document. It lays the foundations of linguistics and literacy and includes guidelines on mathematical, scientific, technological, aesthetic, creative, human and social, as well as moral and cultural content at the appropriate stages of development of the individual. Our curriculum forms the basis on which long-term and mid-term lesson planning is conducted on an annual basis.
Students are given opportunities to excel at all stages of their academic life, regardless of their choice of career paths.
What do we do in the Curriculum Development Unit?
We spend a lot of time thinking about what to teach our students. We work hard to upgrade what to teach, how to teach and when to teach. We want to ensure that a high standard of education is delivered uniformly at all levels of the school. We are always vigilant to tackle emerging problems and we come up with effective solutions and alternatives.
A resourceful team of people
Did you know that our research and review work have played important roles in producing what the students learn in the classroom? At BADC School, considerable planning goes into revising our curriculum and we do a lot of planning work over the course of the year. We also work to improve textbooks and the large range of education aides and resources that make learning fun.
Did you know that teachers are also students?
Yes, teachers attend classes on how to teach well. The Curriculum Development Unit works very closely to provide training, so our teachers are better equipped to teach your children.
